Joe Pike

Joe Pike
Founder, Chairman of the Board
 

Besides being one of the company’s founders, Joe serves as Chairman of the Board. Mr Pike, while trained as a lawyer, has been an executive in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries since 1987, when he acquired his first pharmaceutical company. Over the years, he has been successful in the development and commercialization of a number of pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices, all of which have had successful acquisitions or IPOs.

Tommy G Thompson

Gov. Thompson was a state legislator in Wisconsin, and 42nd Governor of Wisconsin from 1987 to 2001, making him the longest serving governor in the state's history. He later served as the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services from 2001–05, appointed by George W. Bush. After his time in the Bush Administration, Thompson became a partner in the law-firm Akin Gump, and Independent Chairman of Deloitte's Center for Health Solutions. He has served on the board of 22 other organizations.

Ian Bancroft

Ian has extensive experience and expertise in clinical development, medical affairs and new business development, in biotech, pharmaceutical and innovative device products market access globally.After a decade of successful medical affairs field management for Pharmacia/Searle in the UK, Ian moved to the US in 1999 to take leadership of their International field based medical affairs programs. Ian subsequently added broad biotech experience and skills, including new business and alliance management, opinion leader management and clinical data support programming across most therapeutic areas and with both pharmaceutical manufacturers and agency service providers alike. Ian has developed and led more than 100 peri-launch projects globally as cross-functional programs employing pivotal clinical data to establish paradigm shifts that maximize commercial and most importantly patient outcomes

Ian founded Tardis Medical Consultancy in 2009, which was sold to Publicis Health in 2015 and joins Galleon as CEO.

 Kenneth D Herbst

Kenneth D Herbst, M.D., FACP

Dr Herbst serves as the company’s Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Herbst is Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine. At UCSD he developed Comprehensive Clinical Centers for both Hemophilia and Sickle Cell Diseases. He is the former Deputy Surgeon General of the Army for Reserve Affairs. He planned, developed, and completed reorganization of 28,000 Army Reserve Soldiers under a single command, the Army Reserve Medical Command, and was its first commander. He has been a medical and science advisor to multiple pharmaceutical and medical entities. He is President and CEO of Global Health Consultants, Inc.

Nikos Maniadakis
Chief Operations Officer

Nikos is aninternational expert in the economics and management of the healthcare sector, combining analytical proficiency and astrategic mindset, with broad and global industry experience, as anexecutive, consultant, and academic. He is proficient in leading products through discovery, development, market access and commercialization. He held executive positions at Parexel,Pharmacia/Pfizer, and Eli Lilly, academic positions at Oxford, Warwick and the Athens School of Public Health and was managing director of a medical device commercial distributor of Medtronic and CEO & President of two university hospitals. He has deviced and managed clinical, market access and business development programs for numerous biotech and medtech products in multiple markets. He lectures at several universities and has been associate journal editor and multi-referenced author. Passionate with multicultural background, has been invited to speak in many international forums. He has been advisor to political and business leaders, governmental and supranational organisations globally and has designed and managed challenging transformational reforms and multinational projects. Nikos joined GalleonBio as Chief Operations Officer in early 2019, and drives clinical development, regulatory affairs efforts, alomg with generating evidence to support partnering deals, across theportfolio of products.

Siva Gudi, PhD
Chief Science Officer

Dr Gudi currently serves as Galleon Bio Chief Science Officer. He has spent over 17 years in product development leadership positions at companies such as Medicis, Orexigen and Amylin. Over the past 17 years his work has contributed to multiple regulatory drug approvals in the US and world wide. Dr. Gudi received his Phd in Biochemistry from CDRI in India and his post-doctoral training from Penn State and UCSD

Daniel Pike

Daniel Pike

Daniel has over 16 years experience in medical device and OTC pharmaceutical marketing and development. He served in several roles at Evofem Biosciences (EVFM) from 2006 until their initial fund raise in 2009 and continued as EVP at Evofem until 2011.

In 2011 Daniel moved to Beijing, China to launch marketing and distribution subsidiaries for Cosmederm Bioscience Inc to promote their topical OTC anti-itch brand, Tricalm. He built and led a team of 20 people across Hong Kong and mainland China and successfully launched several different products into the market for the company.

After spending 7 years in China, Daniel returned to USA and founded and serves as President of Votre Allure LLC, an aesthetic medicine practice management company. He also serves as President of Advanced Derm Solutions LLC, a dermatology-focused topical OTC products company.
